Project Description

A Development Variance Permit application has been submitted for 1666 Tunstall Boulevard (shown on map) to reduce the minimum setback from the natural boundary of the sea.

The applicants wish to replace and expand the existing community swimming pool located on the property. They have requested to reduce the minimum setback from the natural boundary of the sea from 30 m, reducing to 15 m for the swimming pool and 21 m for an accessory building for changerooms/washrooms. Staff will introduce the application to Council at the February 27, 2023 Council Meeting. At that meeting Council will decide to set a date to consider issuing the permit, or may choose to not proceed further with the application.
