BIM has been awarded a $2.287 million grant from the province’s Growing Communities Fund to support investment in community infrastructure and amenities.
Provincial grants totalling $1 billion were awarded to 188 BC municipalities and regional districts, and can be used to address each community’s infrastructure needs.
Council will work with Municipal staff to assess infrastructure needs and determine how to leverage this funding for the maximum benefit of the community.
