Project Description

A Development Variance Permit application has been submitted for 1461 Mount Gardner Road (shown on map) to increase the maximum allowable lot coverage as well as the maximum allowable size of a detached secondary suite.

The applicants wish to legalize existing agricultural buildings and to add a new dwelling. The request is to increase the maximum lot coverage from 1500 sq m to 2880 sq m. They also wish to designate an existing residence as a Detached Secondary Suite, and because it exceeds the maximum allowable size, it requires a variance to increase the maximum floor area of a Detached Secondary Suite from 140 sq m to 188 sq m.
