Project Description
Bowen Island Council will be considering an application at its April 8, 2024 meeting for a temporary use permit for 604 Grafton Road.
Kiwi Innovation wish to construct a temporary building approximately 220 sq. m. (2,400 sq. ft.) in area to be used for the construction of prefabricated home panels, comprising of wood framing and blown in cellulose. The panels are intended to support construction of net zero home structures.
The proposed temporary use permit would permit this use as a light manufacturing use for a three-year term. Conditions on the TUP would include the property owner’s undertaking to remove building at expiry of TUP and compliance with environmental conditions during construction.
