Project Description
Bowen Island Municipality has received an application to amend the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw to enable the subdivision of 1360 Mount Gardner Road to be subdivided into two properties.
The application was introduced to Council at their October 15, 2024 meeting, where Council made a motion for the application to be referred to the Advisory Planning Commission, the Housing Advisory Committee, and the Parks, Trails and Greenways Advisory Committee for a recommendation. Staff are now preparing to return to Council on March 10, 2025 to share the results of the referrals and Committee discussions.
If Council chooses to advance the application there will be further opportunities for the public to comment on the application, including a formal Public Hearing which would be held before a bylaw is adopted.
