Bluewater Park & King Edward Bay shift to Stage 4 Water Conservation Guidelines

As we approach the August long weekend, all residents in Bluewater Park and King Edward Bay are asked to follow Stage 4 water conservation guidelines, limiting water use to indoor needs only.
Although the watermain upgrade in Bluewater Park is now complete, the westside well optimization project is still in its final phase, and the full connection of the three westside water systems at the treatment facility is not yet finished.
Recent meter readings also identified several private-side leaks in Bluewater Park. Affected homeowners have been notified and urged to make repairs as soon as possible. All residents are reminded of the importance of conducting regular checks for leaks on their properties.
Using drinking water for irrigation, landscaping, or recreation during a time of potential drought puts unnecessary strain on our limited supply, which should be prioritized for essential needs such as drinking, cooking, sanitation, and fire protection.
It should be noted that the use of recycled water (e.g. water collected whilst washing vegetables, showering, or laundry) on garden beds is still allowed and encouraged.
Prioritizing essential uses and taking conservation steps helps ensure that everyone in our community has access to safe, reliable water.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to community safety.
