Bowen Island Council will review a zoning application for a Seymour Bay Landing development at an upcoming public meeting.

Committee of the Whole meeting
1:00 PM on Monday, September 15
Conference Room at the Community Centre
(livestream viewing in the Bowen Theatre)

The proposal (Application RZ-2025-0079) asks to:

  • Increase the number of residential units from the currently allowed 161 units to 312 units.
  • Expand commercial uses to create a mixed-use area on Seymour Bay Drive.
A map showing two highlighted areas labeled 'Area 9D' and 'Area 9E' in red. Area 9D is located to the right of Area 9E, with both areas situated along a curving road. Several smaller roads and parcels surround the areas, and a creek runs to the west of Area 9E. The background includes parcel lines and a small pond near the bottom right.

This application was first introduced at Council’s July 14 meeting, when Council requested it be brought to this meeting for more discussion and community input.
