The Bylaw Services Department is currently undertaking the fall Bike Barn Clean-Up. The goal of the clean-up is to remove bikes that have not been moved for several weeks or months and are therefore considered abandoned. Removal of bikes will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025.
It should be noted that overnight bike storage in the Bike Barn is not permitted, per posted signage.
Bikes considered candidates for removal were tagged on October 17, 2025 to notify the owners of their pending removal. Most of the tagged bikes have since been removed and we thank those that took the time to do so.
There are a number of bikes, however, that remain in the Bike Barn despite being tagged. If uncollected, these bikes will be removed on November 21, 2025. Bike locks will be cut if necessary. Removed bikes will be kept for 90 days before being disposed of. A fee will be charged for the return of removed bikes.
Please take a look at the bikes pictured below and, if you recognize any of them, arrange prompt pick-up to avoid removal. We would love to reunite these bikes with their owners!
