Notice of Intention to Dispose of Land: 784 Grafton Rd

This is a public notice under Section 26 of the Community Charter that Bowen Island Municipality (the “Municipality”) intends to dispose of property that is not being made available to the public for acquisition. This notice is published December 5 and 12, 2025.

The Municipality has entered into an agreement with BC Hydro to purchase 784 Grafton Rd (the old Fire Hall property) for $900,000 with an estimated completion date of December 29, 2025.

784 Grafton Road is owned by the Municipality. The legal description is PID: 008-651-931 LOT 1 BLOCK 2 DISTRICT LOT 1347 PLAN 13386. The property is shown in orange outline on the map below.
