Bowen Island Municipality is seeking a part-time Custodian to work on Saturdays from 7:30 am until 1:00 pm with the possibility of casual coverage and additional shifts in the future.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Custodian will use a variety of power equipment and hand tools, buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc. in Municipal facilities. Custodians will be required to work indoors and outdoors, year-round in all types of weather conditions. The position may require occasional work in high places, with appropriate safety plans in place.
