Project Description

Bowen Island Municipality has received a Land Use Bylaw amendment application for the purpose of rezoning the properties at 670 and 648 Buchanan Road from RR3 to a zone variation, which will enable the subdivision of properties as small as 0.5 acres and will allow these two properties to be subdivided into four (ie. two additional lots).

The two properties currently have a single family residence on each as well as a number of accessory buildings, and the properties are unserviced. The existing residences would be kept as the principal residences on the two proposed northerly lots, and the two proposed southerly lots would be intended for new single family residences on each.

Municipal staff are reviewing the application before introducing it to Bowen Island Municipal Council.
