SEEKING PUBLIC COMMENT
for DVP-2021-0047 (1082 Miller Road)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A Development Variance Permit (DVP) application has been submitted for 1082 Miller Road (shown on map) to permit a number of variances for the development of a 24-unit supportive housing development by the Snug Cove House Society.
These variances would:
- Allow a 5.5 metre high retaining wall along the north property line;
- Allow a 3.7 metre high cedar trellis and fence along the east property line, for a building entrance and to shield a generator.
The proposed DVP would also include variances in an approved variance issued January 2020. That previous DVP includes variances to increase the maximum lot coverage, increase the maximum height, and reduce the required setbacks.

The application may also be viewed at Municipal Hall between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding statutory holidays).
