620 Laura Road – Cidery
A Temporary Use Permit application was approved for 620 Laura Road (shown on map) to permit a cidery.
The proposed cidery will utilize the existing apple orchards on site to produce cider for sale on site or through the Liquor Distribution Branch. The cidery will be permitted to produce cider, provide on-site sales, and provide tours of the cidery and associated orchard. A picnic area is proposed to be located adjacent to the cidery.

FINAL DECISION:
At its meeting on Monday, March 22, 2021, Council approved the Temporary Use Permit with the following resolution:
| RES#21-101 | It was Moved and Seconded That Council issue Temporary Use Permit TUP-2021-0017 for cidery use for 620 Laura Road, legally described as LOT 1 BLOCK D DISTRICT LOT 492 PLAN 2250, PID: 015-026-701, as amended: Section 6 – Decrease the maximum size of retail space to 30 sq.m; Section 7 – Decrease the maximum size of picnic area to 120 sq.m.; and Section 9 – Include maximum hours of operation as Monday-Sunday 11:00am-7:00pm.
