A Development Variance Permit application was approved for 1160 Ecclestone Rd (shown on map) to vary the lot line setback, adjacent public beach access setback, and public beach access provision so as to create a new statutory right-of-way agreement linked to the approval of a proposed private dock that will ensure long-term improved public access to the public beach along the shoreline of the lot.

FINAL DECISION:
At its meeting on Monday, June 14, Council approved the Development Variance Permit with the following resolution:
RES#21-237 | It was Moved and Seconded That Council issue Development Variance Permit DVP-2021-0020 for the variance of lot line setback, beach access setback, and public beach access, and the implementation of a public right-of-way for 1160 Ecclestone and the Crown Land covered by water immediately adjacent thereto, legally described as LOT B DISTRICT LOT 1911 PLAN 12596, PID 008-842-027. CARRIED (Councillor Fast opposed.) |
