Project Description

Jennifer McIntyre has applied to operate a garden center/nursery at 511 Sunset Road where, in addition to plants grown on site, wholesale plants will be imported for sale during the initial stages of the business operation. Agriculture use, currently permitted on the property, allows the sale of plants grown on-site but not the sale of imported plants.

The proposed temporary use would permit a Garden Centre Use, limited to the retail sale of nursery plants, home gardening supplies and related goods and services.

The application was introduced to Council at the June 12, 2023, Council Meeting.

Council will consider issuing the permit at July 10, 2023, Regular Council Meeting.
