Progress on the Community Centre is coming along, slowly but surely! Paving of the front of the driveway was recently completed, and occupancy inspections are ongoing. We anticipate that we will be able to move in sometime in February, but that is contingent on passing several critical inspections including fire and life safety systems. We want to make sure this important asset of the community is fully completed to our satisfaction, even if that means further delays to moving in. We know that the ongoing delays are a source of frustration – and we feel it too! But we are so excited and optimistic for when we can finally open the doors to the community and provide bright, modern and functional spaces for arts, recreation and cultural programming.
