Invitation to Comment on Bowen Island Outfall Replacement

Transport Canada’s Navigation Protection Program administers the Canadian Navigable Waters Act.

In accordance with requirements of the Canadian Navigable Waters Act, Bowen Island Municipality gives notice that it has submitted an application to the Minister of Transport for the following works.

Navigation Protection Program File Number: 2024-513882
Project Description: The existing sanitary effluent outfall servicing Bowen Island Municipality is to be replaced with a new outfall effluent (sewer) pipeline which will lay on/under the seabed.
Worksite location: Through Snug Cove, and terminating at approximately N 49.3813, W123.3231
