The Community Centre is nearing completion, with progress both inside and outside. Last Friday, the Integrated Life Safety demonstration was wrapped up, and reports are expected this week. The majority of paving has been completed; due to the cold weather, paving the entrance has been postponed and will be rescheduled when temperatures rise.
Window safety decals by artists Eleanor Rosenberg and Simon Daniel James have been placed throughout the facility, and signage, with Braille verified by the Canadian Organization of the Blind and Deafblind, has been placed. These final details highlight how close we are to opening this long awaited community space.
