Project Description
Proposed Land Use Bylaw Amendment Bylaw No. 666, 2024 would amend the zoning at 2095 Cape Drive to create a new zone variation, RR1(g), to add “school” to the list of allowable uses.
Proposed Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 667, 2024 would amend the OCP land use designation of 2095 Cape Drive to a new “Rural Institutional (R/I)” designation, including an accompanying description of the designation identifying the subject property within the Cape Roger Curtis area, and adding a policy that the municipality may consider approving institutional uses within Cape Roger Curtis to uphold access to education for locals, with an inclusion that transportation routes must be a consideration.
