Project Description

Bylaw No. 671, 2024 proposes to amend the Official Community Plan (OCP) by changing the land use designation of 561/564 Collins Road from R1 – Rural to RS – Rural Residential.

Bylaw No. 672, 2024 proposes to rezone the northern portion of the same property from Rural Residential 2 to Settlement Residential 1 (a), aligning it with the zoning of the southern portion.

These amendments would enable the subdivision of the property into two parcels, with Collins Road serving as the dividing line. As part of the application, the property owner will provide a trail easement linking Crippen Regional Park to Collins Road and will protect 50% of the property from further development.
