Regular Council Meeting
Monday, July 13, 2026

Council will be considering a First Reading at its Regular Council Meeting held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 13, 2026 to consider Amendment Bylaw No. 722, 2026. This hearing will be held in the Conference Room at the Community Centre and online via Zoom.

Project Description

This amendment will affect Area 2 of the Comprehensive Development (CD-18) zone by making changes related to reducing the minimum lot size in order to allow subdivision. The amendment was requested by the owner of 1620 Joan Audrey Lane in order to allow them to subdivide the property for individual cottage units, as opposed to all cottage units being on one property. The proposed changes will not alter the number of units allowed on the property.

A red outlined area highlights three sub-areas (labeled “Area 1,” “Area 2,” and part of “Area 3”) along a curved road. Surrounding zones include RR1 (Rural Residential 1), CD18 (Comprehensive Development), and G3. A legend indicates zoning categories, and a north arrow appears in the lower-left corner.
Only the property at 1620 Joan Audrey Lane (outlined in red) will be affected by this amendment.
