A structural concern has been identified on one of the timber piles at the Snug Cove Municipal Dock.
A professional engineer has been engaged to inspect the dock and we are working to repair or replace the affected pile as quickly as possible.
Effective immediately and until further notice, only one small emergency vehicle (between 4.5 – 6.4 tonnes) is permitted on the dock at a time, traveling at a maximum speed of 5 km/h.
We have been in contact with local emergency services directly to inform them of this temporary restriction
