To accommodate upcoming repairs to the Snug Cove Docks, bicycles currently stored in the Bike Barn on the North Dock will be temporarily relocated to the Pedestrian Shed on the South Dock for the duration of the North Dock closure.
What you need to know:
- All bicycles remaining in the bike barn at the time of closure will be moved.
- The relocation is necessary to maintain safe access during construction activities.
- Bike storage will remain available throughout the repair period.
- Once construction is complete, bicycles and bike racks will be returned to their regular location.
Construction is currently scheduled to begin on August 5, 2026, with dock closures expected in the weeks that follow. The Bike Barn relocation will take place only when required to accommodate closure of the North Dock. An update will be sent when the construction schedule is confirmed, and advance notice will be provided before any bicycles are moved.
We encourage bicycle owners to remove their bicycles before the relocation takes place.
