Yellow Flag Iris Treatment

Yellow Flag Iris 2

Staff were visited by this tiny Pacific tree frog (Pseudacris regilla) while completing yellow flag iris (Iris pseudacorus) treatments in Bowen Brook. We are working to hard to prevent the spread of this invasive plant into Grafton Lake where it can negatively impact the ecology of the Lake and our drinking water.

We need your help! Seeds float long distances, so yellow flag iris plants anywhere in the watershed could spread into the Lake – please control yellow flag iris on your property and contact BIM if you need help.

*No frogs were harmed during this work.
