2025 Community Grants
On May 26, 2025 Council approved revisions to the Bowen Island Municipality Community Grants Policy. A key element of this update was reflecting the change from a Committee of Council based selection process, to a panel. The panel will be convened imminently.

2024 Community Grant-in-Aid
We’re now accepting Grant-in-Aid applications (less than $2000) until November 15, 2024.
The difference between Community Grants and Grants-in-Aid is the value. Grants-in-Aid are less than $2000. The same application process applies to both.

Community Grants/Grant-in-Aid
The Community Grants program is intended to assist and encourage Bowen Island community groups and organizations within the terms of the Community Charter. Bowen Island community groups and organizations are defined as those where the majority of the members reside within the Municipality. Community groups and organizations may apply for a Community Grant.
