The Flush Intake Project is an operational improvement to the Cove Bay Water System that enables flushing of the supply water line feeding the CUF treatment system, improving the Municipality’s ability to maintain the raw water intake and manage the quality of water entering the plant.

The project proceeded smoothly through permitting and procurement, with the building permit (Permit #20260090) obtained and all materials — including the 200mm HDPE pipe, couplings, and fittings — delivered to site in advance of construction.
