Working under the direction of Community Recreation Program staff, the Summer Daycamp Leader will plan, organize, and lead an 8-week full-day children’s camp program and supervise Camp Assistants, youth volunteers, and camp participants. This Camp will be almost entirely outdoors with daily active walking trips, regardless of weather. The role encourages creativity, positivity and active engagement with campers.
The position is 40 hours per week from June through August – please note that start / end dates are flexible, though priority will be given based on availability as well as relevant experience, personal interests or hobbies that align with camp activities and values.
Successful applicants will gain valuable experience in leadership, children’s program development, planning, organization, and teamwork.
