School Travel Planning (STP) is an important process to help get students to school safely while encouraging physical activity and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. STP has been identified as a priority in the Transportation Plan.
Three schools on Bowen Island participated in the municipality’s School Travel Planning program, which aimed to create a safe and comfortable environment for children to walk, bike, and roll to school.
